The officer uses the armor's specially designed features to attack and apprehend Spider-Man. After placing a noose around Spider-Man's neck, it looks as though the officer will deliver Spider-Man to his superiors dead rather than alive. Suddenly a single shot fells the Public Eye officer. Free again, Spider-Man ponders who saved his life. His only clue to his savior was the omega symbol he glimpsed on their ship. Miguel discusses the clue with Lyla and, based on his encounter with Vulture, expresses his mistrust of someone helping out of the blue. He asks Lyla for her thoughts to which she responds that she can't think as she isn't human. Miguel insists that she's smarter than most humans he knows and asks her for an opinion. Lyla's response is that if she were human she would be in love with him. Miguel decides she thought enough and leaves for Alchemax. At Alchemax Miguel meets Jordan Boone. Stone has had him transferred to Miguel's office to review his work and offer guidance. Miguel heads for Stone's office to 'thank' him and is surprised to find Dana there. Stone explains that Dana's firm is handling some of Alchemax's accounts and she was made the company liaison. Stone deflects the subject of Boone by inviting Miguel and Dana on a trip to see the companies new floating city. Soaring above the city, Spider-Man mysterious savior watches.
